132 formulas, zero errors in tests
9 tabs in one workbook
8 campaigns compared side by side
10 budget levels in the simulator

Your ad panel shows ROAS. It does not show whether you make money.

A ROAS of 4.0 can mean solid profit or a loss on every sale. It all depends on your margin, shipping costs, fees and returns, none of which the ad panel knows.

An example from the workbook: a store with a margin of 43.70 per order. A campaign with ROAS 4.67 earns 59 a month. A campaign with ROAS 3.60 loses 534. Both look decent in the panel.

ROAS 4.67 earns money. ROAS 3.60 loses it.

The sample data in the workbook makes the point: with a margin of 43.70 per order, a campaign with ROAS 4.67 earns 59 a month while a campaign with ROAS 3.60 loses 534. Both look fine in the panel. The workbook runs this on your numbers.

The simulator shows where profit ends

You raise the budget, CPA goes up. The simulator calculates 10 budget levels with rising CPA and marginal profit, and points to the level where an extra unit of spend stops earning.

Check your agency in 2 minutes

The agency report says "ROAS 4.2, great month". You enter spend, revenue and order count, and the workbook shows how much actually stayed in the bank. Maximum CPA and CPC become hard limits you can hand over as constraints.

Already using Margin Calculator PRO?

This is the natural second step of the same analysis. There you calculate product margin and promotion profitability. Here you enter that margin and decide how much you can spend on ads so the profit does not disappear in click costs.

FAQ

How is this different from the ROAS/POAS tab in Margin Calculator PRO?
That tab calculates the threshold for a single order. This workbook works at the campaign and budget level: funnel, scaling, LTV and campaign comparison. Margin is an input here, not a result.
Do I need to know Excel?
No. You type numbers into yellow cells, the results calculate themselves. Formulas are protected against accidental deletion (no password).
What are the technical requirements?
Excel 2016 or newer, or LibreOffice Calc. No macros, no install, no account.
Does it work for services?
Yes, if you sell online and know the value and delivery cost of an order.
Where do I get the data?
From your Google Ads or Meta Ads panel: spend, revenue and order count. You enter your order economics (basket value, costs, returns) once, in about 5 minutes.
Will I receive updates?
Version 1.0 is current at purchase. Change history and verification dates are listed on this page. Important updates are emailed to buyers.
Is this financial advice?
No. This is an analytical tool for estimating campaign profitability. Enter rates, costs and margins according to your own situation.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes, tick the invoice option in the checkout form.
