Recommended templates follow Google's current event reference. Monetary value and currency are conditional; every ecommerce item must include item_id or item_name. Enhanced Measurement can already collect form_start and form_submit, so do not send duplicates manually. Validation also checks reserved prefixes and parameter value limits; reserved parameter names may not be registered as your own custom dimensions or metrics.
